Lab Reviews
- Member representatives will be involved in creating the evaluation protocol and report format – thus, reports will address the collective information needs of the membership.
- Laboratory review reports will include objective information only: no judgments, conclusions, recommendations will be included. Any conclusions drawn will be those of the individual members as arrived at independently based upon their own analysis and corporate criteria and decision-making process.
- Member representatives will be involved in identifying and vetting GLEMP’s laboratory review contractors.
- Laboratories reviewed by GLEMP will be selected based upon the interests and needs of the membership.
- In accordance with GLEMP’s Antitrust Policy and Bylaws, member interests will be maintained in strict confidence. Additionally, details associated with laboratory reports obtained by GLEMP members will be held in strict confidence.
- Similarly, in accordance with GLEMP’s Antitrust Policy and Bylaws, during the laboratory review selection process, no discussion will occur between members pertaining to their laboratories of interest.
- GLEMP member costs associated with laboratory review reports will be determined on a cost-sharing basis where common member interest warrants.
- Where individual member interest/needs exist, GLEMP will conduct “sole-sponsored” reviews and assign costs accordingly.
